An individual, group of students or a school / college can apply. In case of group applications each member of the group will get an award.

Applicants must be in the age group of 10-20 years on the date of application.

The application will include 3 parts – a form explaining what has been done, the impact and why the applicant(s) deserve the award; the second part consisting of a letter by the school head who is not related to the applicant(s), validating what the student(s) has done; and the final part consisting of supporting documents (see below for details).
- Each application must be validated by the school head who is not related to the applicant(s).
- Applications are open for a limited period every year.

If a badge is lost, it will not be replaced but the same person can make a new application for any of the badges for another achievement.
- There is no limit to the number of badges awarded in a year.

A person may apply for any number of badges (a different category or to the same category for another achievement).

The award can be given to a students(s) who take part in an activity as a part of the school curriculum. Eg: school Interact Clubs or social service as a part of the board curriculum (ICSE SUPW / IB service component).

The award is open to students from all types of school or colleges – private or government.

To start with, this initiative will be implemented in Delhi.

Applications can be made via e-mail Applicants can send supporting documents in the form of photos, video, a website link and articles in school or college / local / national newspapers.

The Award is open to Indian nationals only, except in the case of foreign nationals being part of a group/ institutional applications.
